Upgrading a Mac Book hard disk drive: 256GB SSD

Ingredients for the recipe:

A MacBook Pro with a Serial ATA Hard Disk Drive.
A Solid State Disk Drive.
A 2.5´´ SSD adapter to Serial ATA.

The MacBook, the adapter and the SSD(The smallest one)

First we need to retire the bottom cover of the Mac. Be careful with the sizes of the screws, there are two differents sizes, so you don´t want to put a largest screw in the place of a shorter one. It would be a disaster.

Once you can see the SATA Hard Drive you could retire it unscrewing the two screws that secures it to the laptop.

Now it´s time to prepare the SSD before install it to the MacBook, so we took the SSD and connect it to the adapter card, screwing with the to bolts that secure it to the board.

Finally we could put the adapter with the SSD into the plastic box that simulates the SATA drive.

It´s time now to put the SSD adaptor into the MacBook, securing it with the two screws we previously have retired, and closing the bottom cover with his corresponding screws.

Once we have finished the hard part of the upgrading, its time for the soft one. Now we need an OS disk, to install our system in our new drive. It´s amazing how fast can start your MacBook with an SSD drive compared to a SATA one.
